London Twitter Party - How was it ?

Mike aka Sizemore on Twitter had organised the first London Twitter Party, and Wallid and Sokratis from Trustedplaces (great website I mentioned a while ago) were kindly sponsoring the event with very nice food and drinks.


Great to mingle with other Twitter users ! Great to exchange on the difficulties we all have in explaining and actually understanding the point of it all ! Great to see I'm not the only one to be kind of addicted to it. Also interesting to see that most Twitter users are also bloggers. Blogging and Micro-Blogging then...

So who was there ? Raphael, the other French blogger-Twitter user in London, Mike, Wallid and Sokratis which I already mentioned. Annie Mole whose blog London Underground I do not need to present. Jess, from Geek Entertainment TV (yes, there'll be some videos soon). Rob from the famous blog Londonist. Had a nice chat as well with James and Darika, who strangely enough works for the Shiny Media group with with Zara, a blogger I had met through work, and we'd interviewed me on Twingo (once again, here is how to look stupid -me, not Zara !- in front of a camera ;)

Anyway, lots of fun, about 30-40 people and altogether a great Twitter Party, thanks Mike for organising it all and, as mentioned, I hope you'll all drop by at the London Blog Drink on the 6th of September !
